A Spark in the Scrap
In the dusty Scrap Heap, fourteen-year-old Elara has always believed that broken things deserve another chance, but she never expects one tiny electrical spark to lead her beneath the city into a forgotten power network. When she discovers that the network is failing and the entire community could lose its fragile supply of electricity, Elara, her loyal friend Tavi, and their unlikely rival Senn must race against time to repair it. Along the way, Elara uncovers a connection to her missing father and learns that the greatest machine isn’t powered by a single brilliant inventor—it works when an entire community chooses to connect, cooperate, and share its strength.
